ChartSeal is operated by its founder, Rishabh Gupta. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have — in plain language, not legal jargon.

Authentication via Google OAuth: When you sign in, we collect only:

• Your full name
• Your email address
• Your profile photo (if available)

Activity data: We record your votes, song submissions, Fandom War Room messages, merch listings, listing photos, item details, seller display information, and buyer interest signals. Vote records are publicly visible on the transparent ledger — this is a core feature of ChartSeal's trust model.

We never collect or store your Google password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google.

Your information is used solely to:

• Create and manage your ChartSeal account
• Display your Music DNA identity and vote history
• Associate votes, submissions, War Room messages, and merch listings with your profile
• Show marketplace listings, seller context, and buyer interest activity
• Enforce daily vote limits and detect manipulation
• Communicate important service updates

ChartSeal's core promise is vote transparency. Every vote is cryptographically sealed and added to a public ledger. This means:

• Vote records are publicly verifiable
• Your email is used internally to attribute votes — it is not displayed publicly
• Vote counts and rankings derived from your votes are public

We do not sell your personal information.

Your data is used only to operate ChartSeal. Public merch listings may show listing details, item photos, seller display name, seller trust signals, shipping region, and contact/interest context needed for marketplace use. Disclosure may occur only if required by law or to protect users and platform integrity.

We use cookies and browser storage for:

• Session cookies: Keep you logged in
• Authentication tokens: Verify identity securely
• Local preferences: Recent searches and player settings (stored locally on your device, never sent to our servers)

We apply industry-standard security measures. All data is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS. Authentication is handled by Google's OAuth infrastructure. Our vote ledger uses cryptographic hashing to ensure tamper-proof records.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request account and data deletion
• Revoke Google OAuth access at any time via your Google account settings
