Terms of Service

Welcome to ChartSeal — the fan-powered, cryptographically-verified music chart arena. ChartSeal is operated by its founder, Rishabh Gupta. By accessing or using ChartSeal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the service.

ChartSeal enables fans to vote on songs, stream music previews, participate in Battle Mode, engage in Fandom War Rooms, browse fan merch listings, and view real-time rankings across K-Pop, J-Pop, and Thai Pop charts. All votes are cryptographically sealed and publicly verifiable.

Certain features (voting, War Rooms, Music DNA) require signing in via Google OAuth. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Notify us of any unauthorized account access
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes
• Manipulate or artificially inflate votes
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to vote or submit songs
• Submit false or misleading song information
• Harass or harm other users in War Rooms or chat
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Reverse engineer or exploit the platform

To preserve chart integrity:

• Each user may cast one vote per song per day
• All votes are cryptographically hashed and permanently recorded
• Votes cannot be deleted, reversed, or altered after submission
• Suspicious voting patterns may result in account suspension

Your Content: You retain ownership of submitted content. By submitting songs, messages, merch listings, images, prices, or item descriptions, you grant ChartSeal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and use it to operate the service.

Platform Content: All platform code, design, and software are owned by ChartSeal and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

ChartSeal may let fans list, browse, and express interest in fan merch such as photocards, albums, lightsticks, posters, and collectibles. Sellers are responsible for accurate listing details, item condition, pricing, shipping terms, and completing any transaction they arrange with buyers.

ChartSeal is not the seller, buyer, payment processor, shipping provider, or escrow service for user-listed merch. Users should verify listings, communicate safely, and avoid sharing sensitive payment or personal information in public areas.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, vote manipulation, abuse, or legal requirements. Upon termination, access to the service and associated data ceases.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of rankings, or freedom from errors or security vulnerabilities.

ChartSeal is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, profits or revenue, or unauthorized account access. Total liability shall not exceed any amount paid in the past twelve months.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from use of ChartSeal.

Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
